About Our Fees

The care from Optimal Health Associates is often more affordable than most insurance coverage plans because:

• Most patients get better faster and need fewer visits to achieve their goals.

• Our natural medicines usually cost less than pharmaceuticals and/or surgery.

• Natural medicines are less toxic and have fewer side effects and harmful interactions than drugs.

• Natural medicines usually do not need to be used for as long as drugs do.

• We test every material for appropriateness before we dispense it to the patient whenever possible, so there are fewer allergic reactions and less wasted time in treatment.

• Our use of nutritional and dietary advice often results in better food values for less cost.  For a family’s monthly food budget, these savings usually cover the cost of some live visits for personal attention from our physicians.

• By resolving difficult medical problems more quickly, our patients are spared loss of income and intangible quality of life difficulties that accompany long-term illness and suffering.

• Some of our conventional diagnostic and treatment services are reimbursable by health insurance policies, and our prices for comparable services are usually below those of most conventional doctors and clinics.
   

Initial visits are usually over an hour in length with a licensed health professional and cost $300, not including any supplements that may be recommended.  Any needed followup visits usually cost $150, not including supplements.  We also offer a variety of individual treatments (at additional charge) that can be added to these appointments or scheduled separately.  All charges are due when products and/or services are provided.

We do not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.  We may accept Workman's Compensation if the scheduled physician approves it.  This is because we provide complementary medicine that goes beyond conventional medicine, drugs, and surgery.  Our services are often not covered because they are considered to be non-essential and/or unorthodox by most insurance-based programs.
